Bringing those war criminals of Darfour to the international criminal Court

     The Security Council in the United Nations decided to bring the war criminals of Darfour to the international criminal court will finally result in punishing those criminal for their acts in darfour.

     This is considered the demand raised by many national, regional and international organizations.11 members voted for the decision and 4 didn't vote at all, they are USA, China, Russia and Algeria. The council members used their authorities given to them by Rome Convention to find a proper mechanism to end human rights violations in Darfour.

     The fight in Darfour western Sudan began 2003 between the governmental forces and movement of justice and equality and the elaboration army at one side and the militants devoted to the government at the other side.

     And according to the UN statistics 10,000 had died as a result to this dispute and more than 1,8 millions are homeless now. The UN had hired a committee in February 2003 to investigate in the human rights violations and the collective eradication in the region.

      The committee found that the government is responsible for committing war crimes including murdering the civilians and stealing. This step is a good monitor on that no one accused of crimes against humanity will be able to escape or be safe.
