Egypt: Launching the First Arab Electronic Publishing House

Due to the censorship imposed on the printed book in the Arab world, the Arab world's first electronic publishing house was launched to publish, advertise and sell electronic books online for the subscribers.
The electronic version of a book decreases the obstacles pertaining to censorship that face the publications, as well as it increases the number of the readers. The publishing house has no restraints. The e- publishing house does not advertise for books calling for violent ideas and/or ethnic and sectarian extremes.
Many poets, writers, critics, researchers in philosophy and history have taken the initiation to sign contracts to publish the e-versions of their works, of which Egyptians like: Farida al-Naqash, Gamal el-Ghitany, Hassan Hanafy, Saied al-Bahrawy, Khairy Shalaby, Abdel Monem Ramadan, Milad Hanna, Amal Donqol, Abla al-Roainy, Salwa Bakr and Mansoura Ezz Eldeen. Plus the Palestinians: al-Motawakel Taha, Farouq Mowasy and Mohammad Aly Taha, the Moroccan, Mohammad Barada, from Emirates, Maisoun Saqr, and from Bahrain, Khaled Bassam
