Egypt : New Newspaper Defending Students' Rights

(Sout Al-Talaba)- Students' Voice- a non- periodical bulletin initiated in January 2005. The experimental issue was issued in November 2004. The newspaper is published by the Egyptian Association for the Support of Democratic Development.

The issue contains the following features:
The 79 executive order and the emergency law as causes of excluding the students from political participation.

90% of students do not take part in the Students elections
Egyptian intellectuals claim the students' right practice political work inside universities The Minister of Education withdraws his argue to amend the 79 executive order. The National Council for Human Rights examines Egypt's Student's Complaint against Election Falsification
