Egypt: Nine New Newspapers to be published


30rd of December 2004


Headed by Mr. Safwat Al Sherif, The Supreme council for Journalism has finally approved in his meeting on the 28th of December, 2004 to issue nine new newspapers, One Party newspaper:
Al-Ghad, Party newspaper by Al-Ghad political Party
Four Private companies' newspapers:
Al-Dostor(The Constitution), by Al-dostour Company for journalism and advertising.
Al-Rowad(The Pioneer), by Al-Rowad Company for journalism and advertising Al-Hadetha(The Incident), by Al-Safwa Company for journalism and advertising Hawadit(Stories), by Al-Naba' Al-Watani publishing company.

Two NGO's Newspapers
Al-Kateb(The Writer), by the Writers Association in Alexandria
Al-Megala Al-Bah-theya(The research magazine), by the Scientific Association for the environmental protection.

In addition to,
Voice of Fayoum, By Fayoum governorate
Helwan and Maadi News, by the faculty of Arts, Helwan University

The published articles reflect the author's opinion, either individual or organization, it does not necessarily present the Network's opinion
