The Administrative Judiciary Court: Cabinet's approval is not needed to establish press companies.

The Administrative Judiciary court has affirmed that only Press Supreme Council is to be advised whenever a newspaper is published, neither the Cabinet's or Security authorities' approval are necessary to establish new press companies or publish new Journals.
The Judges (headed by Consultant Ahmed Shazli, Salah AlGarawani, Hesham Ghazali, Ibrahim Tahan and Dr. Hamdy Halafawy) have announced that the Investment General Authority has to approve the establishment of a new press company.
It also declared that the cabinet's approval to establish new press companies is not longer valid, according to a verdict by the Supreme Constitutional Court.
