    Name of the Book : Political Citizenship in the Republic of Yemen
    By: Dr.Abdullah Al-Faqueih, Professor of political sciences in San'aa University.
    Subject: it is a study included in the human rights program that is made in cooperation with Dutch embassy within the frame of citizenship.
    The book is an analytical study about the political citizenship as demonstrated by political regime structure, operational procedures, constitutional and legal texts in Yemen during the period 1990-2007. The book occupies rank 12 in human rights studies series. However, the book aims to study citizenship in the Republic of Yemen with its three dimensions: the political, the civilian, and the social within a frame of a project performed by Women's Forum for Research and Training (WFRT).
    This study consist of 9 chapters that the 1st chapter deal with the aspect of citizenship from views of sciences, dimensions, fundamentals and also the embodiment methods on the scale of reality. The 2nd chapter is discussing the social existence for citizenship in Yemen with its different dimensions. The 3rd chapter deal with situation of citizenship at the establishment of Republic of Yemen and nature of struggle witnessed by the country during the recent years of Yemen Republic which established on may 22nd, 1990, besides studying changes, how the powers affected the struggle and how the struggle affected the citizenship.
    Chapters 4,5,6 and 7 dealt consequently with the political regime structure in its official and non official sides.
    While the 8th chapter was concentrating on evaluating the situation of political citizenship via using the quality analysis of the political regime and some other digital scales, the 9th chapter is representing some visions about the required change on the constitutional, legal and procedural scales. The book is available in Arabic and English.
